About Me

I provide in person services and telehealth. To reach out and ask for help can be intimidating and isolating; especially when it seems like there is nowhere else to turn. I am passionate about learning one’s story and journey; being able to be with someone in their pain and foster their growth and resiliency to live heathier and brighter life; is a process I am honored to be included in. Hello, My name Stephanie Aguilar I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC). I graduated with a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2019 from Gonzaga University and obtained my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 2017 from Eastern Washington University. I am passionate with working with individuals ages 10-adult and families. I specialize in treating a variety of areas including but not limited to depression, anxiety, trauma, grief and loss, stress management, schizophrenia spectrum disorders, LGBTQIA+ identities, race and multicultural issues and complexities, abandonment, and self-esteem. I view each individual as a whole emphasizing the importance of emotional, physical, cultural and spiritual well-being I have experience in a variety of therapeutic modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CETA and CBT-P Trained), acceptance and commitment therapy, EMDR, dialectical behavioral therapy, emotion focused therapy, narrative therapy, solution focused therapy, art therapy, play therapy, motivational interviewing, and internal family systems. Although, I am able to utilize an eclectic theoretical orientation to personalize and adapt treatment to meet you where you are on your journey.
