About Me

I am a global integrative trauma psychotherapist providing culturally congruent (appropriate) trauma care to individuals, couples, families, and communities. I have a mindful, creative, holistic, spirit-led, social justice, relational, and body-centered approach. As a Buddhist, White, non-binary healer, I lead healing sessions with the question, "Who are you?", instead of "What's wrong with you?" or "What happened to you?" I am a dedicated practitioner of Tibetan Buddhism and yoga, and do long retreats often under the guidance of an authentic teacher. Besides my role as a healer, I enjoy hiking, photography, playing with my nephew and niece, reading Harry Potter, making kombucha, and being in awe of the things I don't know.

Education & Experience

I have traveled and worked around the world in various professional roles for more than 25 years. I am formally accredited and experienced as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, meditation teacher, yoga teacher, spiritual companion, and social justice artist. I have extensive training in modern and traditional healing techniques, and enjoy blending the two to learn what will help each person discover their innate wholeness. In terms of modern healing methods, I am trained in and mainly utilize: Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Trauma Center Trauma-Sensitive Yoga (TC-TSY). I continue to learn and integrate the traditional healing methods of sound healing, energy healing, shamanism, animism, Tibetan meditation, and plant medicine.
