About Me
"When our grief cannot be spoken, it falls into the shadow and re-arises in us as symptoms." -F. Weller Trauma care is always about tending and caring for the grief moments and experiences that have become stuck and are standing in the way of living the life we wish. I have been holding space for those who have survived trauma, grief, & pain for over 20 years in a variety of settings. I believe that traumatic experiences, once grieved and processed, can be the very experiences that help us grow into the wise future Selves we are waiting for. I incorporate a blend of somatic approaches including EMDR, IFS, trauma-informed yoga and lean on the rhythm of Nature to reSource us back to ourselves. I generally work with individuals who are feeling frustrated by traditional 45 minute talk therapy, and are looking to jumpstart their care with a more intensive approach. Generally, I see clients for EMDR intensives, which can be 2, 4, or 6 hour sessions with a clear plan to complete treatment and a regular discussion of our plan for completing care. I frequently blend in archetypal ways of deeper Self-inquiry including Astrology, the Enneagram, & Inherited Ancestral Trauma work. Finally, along with 2 other colleagues, I host, teach and create nomadic Grief tending gatherings & community: connecting others to the brilliance of navigating stressful collective grief times with the support and care of a like-minded women's village of care.
