About Me

Sylvie Lian is a registered Clinical Psychologist who obtained her Master of Clinical Psychology from the National University of Singapore. She is registered with the Singapore Register of Psychologists, and is a full member of the Singapore Psychological Society. Sylvie provides a range of psychological assessment and therapy services, including depression and anxiety disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder, and trauma-related distress. Sylvie also works with clients who may not have a mental health condition, but are searching for meaning and a sense of purpose in their lives. She utilises different therapeutic approaches including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT). Sylvie understands that each client is unique and tailors the approach to support each client in achieving their therapy and/or assessment goals. She takes a client-centred approach and seeks to empower clients to be able to manage their issues and thrive. She has a firm commitment to providing a safe, non-judgmental space for clients, where their values, knowledge and preferences are respected.
