Teia Poulin, LCMHC
(She/Her)
Preferred Name: Teia
About Me
I understand the emotional impact and the cost to those involved — and to the families who support them; I also understand the confidentiality concerns of those who work in high-profile environments. I am passionate about supporting first responders and assisting them in processing traumatic events that may become barriers to their ability to move forward. With 35 years of first responder community experience specializing in critical incidents and trauma, Teia is uniquely prepared to support clients in the law enforcement and public safety fields. After serving in the Navy, she worked as an Emergency Medical Technician, a Raleigh Police Officer, and a North Carolina State Trooper. She was a founding member of the State Highway Patrol's peer support team and the North Carolina Law Enforcement Assistance Program
