Tina Smith is a Registered Social Worker and Psychotherapist with 25+ years of experience. She holds a BSW and MSW from the University of Western Ontario and completed Law and Security training at Georgian College. Tina is also trained in mediation and is pursuing accreditation as a mediator. She is a Certified EMDR Therapist and Consultant, and integrates approaches like EMDR, IFS, CBT, and DBT in her practice. Tina founded Selah Counselling, Mediation, and Training Center, reflecting her commitment to holistic, faith-informed mental health and conflict resolution services.

Tina J. Smith is a Registered Social Worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers and an active member of the Ontario Association of Social Workers, Canadian Association of Social Workers, EMDRIA, EMDR Canada, and the North American Association of Christians in Social Work. Her professional affiliations reflect a commitment to clinical excellence and the integration of faith-based and trauma-informed care. Her volunteer work spans both local and provincial levels. She has served on the Board of Directors for Ontario Parents Advocating for Children with Cancer and as a voting member of the Special Education Advisory Committee (SEAC) with Thames Valley District School Board, advocating for children facing medical and educational challenges. Tina has also contributed to the Ontario Association of Social Workers through committee and board roles and spent several years volunteering with the Canadian Red Cross in community health, safety training, and abuse prevention initiatives. During her academic years, she held leadership roles including Vice-President of the Social Work Student Association and participated in international community development work in Mexico.
