About Me
I am an EMDRIA certified consultant. I am able to provide EMDR consultation, EMDR intensives, and EMDR outpatient therapy - all via telehealth. Therapy is a great way to journey side-by-side with someone to encourage your personal growth. It takes courage to invite others to learn about your goals and barriers; it is a privilege for me to be there as a support. I value multiple approaches to therapy with the knowledge that each client may benefit from something different. In addition to talk therapy, CBT worksheets, and reprocessing through EMDR, I enjoy integrating creative influences such as mindfulness, music, and books in order to enhance personal growth.
Education & Experience
Toni graduated from Oakland University in 2017 with a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. In 2019, she completed the S.A.F.E. EMDR basic training (Somatic and Attachment Focused EMDR) through the Personal Transformation Institute (PTI). Toni then went on to go through PTI’s 10 month certification program and became an EMDRIA certified therapist as well as PTI’s consultant program to become an EMDRIA certified consultant. She focuses on trauma as well as chronic pain/psychosomatic symptoms associated with trauma. She has been able to gain experience working with PTSD, depression, anxiety, dissociation, ODD, bipolar I and II, OCD, chronic pain, and self-esteem building.
Professional & Volunteer Affiliations
Toni has had experience volunteering with programs and facilities such as Special Olympics, Women's Huron Valley Correctional Facility, Clarkston Junior High School mentor program, and Vista Maria.
