About Me
I incorporate a client-centered and strengths-based approach, where each individual's autonomy and empowerment are central to the healing process. I want to give my clients a sense of control that perhaps they've never had. My counseling approach is all-encompassing, addressing both mental and physical aspects of wellbeing, while nurturing a unified sense of self. Trauma treatment also recognizes that there is no one-size-fits-all approach, and therapies may range from traditional talk therapy to more somatic, holistic and creative modalities. I primarily utilize EMDR and Ego state modalities (parts work), heavily influenced by Neuroscience, Polyvagal and Attachment theories, as well as Energy Psychology.
