About Me
I am a Clinical Psychologist who specializes in trauma and health psychology, and I work with people struggling with PTSD, new and/or chronic health conditions, and medical trauma. I have extensive training and experience in the three types of evidence-based treatments for PTSD (CPT, PE, EMDR), and can use this knowledge to best address your trauma symptoms. Typical issues that people come to treatment with are feeling overwhelmed with past trauma that's resurfacing, being diagnosed or having a loved one diagnosed with a serious health condition and not knowing what to do or how to cope, experiencing grief/loss and feeling stuck, insomnia, and chronic pain. My clients have described me as understanding, caring, easy to talk to, genuine, and have noted that I provide a space where they feel safe to be themselves, and truly be seen, on their own timeline. I'm glad you're taking this step in prioritizing your mental health and wellbeing. It takes a lot of courage and strength to ask for help. I'm happy to discuss my general approach with you in an initial consultation call, and to answer any questions you may have. I look forward to hearing from you!
