About Me
Originally from England, I moved to Northern Ireland in 1999 to complete a BSc in Psychology and received an MSc in Counselling Psychology in 2006. I arrived in Nova Scotia in October 2015 and have been a private practice Psychologist since January 2016.
Education & Experience
Between 2004 and 2015 I worked in the community and then extensively with both serving and retired police officers and their family members. As a Counselling Psychologist I can help you address emotional and social stressors in your life, with a focus on strengthening your abilities with decision making, problem solving and coping strategies. I am a certified EMDRIA therapist and have been practicing standard protocol EMDR therapy since 2010, I also have training in Attachment-focused EMDR.
