Tracy R. Limes, MA, LPC
About Me
I have been a practicing licensed therapist for 23 years and love my job! I work with individuals, couples, and teenagers with various issues. My specialties are helping with any sort of relationship (romantic, family, co-workers, etc), trauma work that includes EMDR therapy, and discovering how to grow as a person in every area of your life. I believe that counseling is not just about resolving pain that is showing up in our daily life but about exploring the possibilities that would lead to a more fulfilling, whole hearted life. I approach therapy with a combination of wit and wisdom and also an wholistic awareness of mind and body connection so that your full health is addressed.
Education & Experience
I completed my BA in Psychology at Southeastern University in 1993 and my MA in Clinical Counseling in 2001 at Ashland Theological Seminary with honors. I completed my EMDRIA approved training in February of 2018 and have been practicing EMDR regularly in my practice ever since for 6 years now. I find it very effective and have done EMDR myself with a therapist.
