About Me
I'm a proud daughter, sister, mother, wife, and military spouse, as well as a passionate pet owner and volunteer. As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), AAMFT Clinical Fellow, EMDR Therapist, and business owner, I find joy in my professional journey.
Education & Experience
Education: A Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, specializing in Children and Adolescents, from National University. In 2022, completed EMDR Basic Training with Rick Levison. Currently completing the advanced training with Mind & Body in September 2025. Experience: I have 3 years of EMDR Therapy practice, starting in 2022, after completing the Basic Training courses and actively pursuing courses to become an EMDRIA Certified Therapist.
Professional & Volunteer Affiliations
Professional/ Volunteer Affiliations: I have 14 years of experience in human services at a federal agency and extensive volunteer work supporting military veterans and non-profits. I served as a case worker for a domestic violence victims program and completed EMDR training in 2022 while interning with diverse groups, including children and veterans. In 2023, I worked at a level 4 residential facility, focusing on trauma-informed care and EMDR therapy for clients who experienced neglect and abuse. I also ran a private practice, helping clients with attachment wounds in their family and relationships.
