About Me

I am a licensed marriage and family therapist (LMFT) in Missouri and Wisconsin. Originally from Thailand, I am married to a U.S. Army soldier, which has given me unique insights into the challenges faced by military families. My passion lies in supporting clients as they navigate significant life transitions, whether it be due to personal loss, relationship changes, or other traumatic experiences. I focus on helping individuals and families rediscover their strength and resilience, empowering them to move toward a new sense of normalcy and joy in their lives. Through compassionate counseling and tailored therapeutic approaches, I strive to create a safe and supportive environment where clients can heal and grow.

Education & Experience

I graduated from National University with a Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, specializing in Children and Adolescents. I have a professional background working in a level 4 residential treatment setting, where I specialize in providing care for victims of neglect and abuse who are experiencing post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). I spent years dedicated to developing and implementing therapeutic interventions tailored to the unique needs of these individuals. My role involves not only addressing the immediate psychological needs of the residents but also creating a safe and supportive environment that promotes their healing journey. Over the years, I have been committed to expanding my career to include the treatment of general trauma and adoption-related trauma, ensuring that I can provide comprehensive support to those in need.

Professional & Volunteer Affiliations

I spent over 14 years working with a federal agency in human services, which provided me with essential experience and insight into the varied needs of individuals and families. This extensive background helped me recognize the vital impact of family dynamics and social support systems on mental health and overall well-being. This understanding motivated my transition into marriage and family therapy, where I aim to create a more profound impact on the lives of individuals and families. I have a strong commitment to volunteer work with the Army Community and Organization, focusing on supporting veterans through various programs. My contributions include connecting veterans to essential resources through Army Community Service, assisting them with educational needs at the Education Center, and promoting mental health awareness at the Army Hospital. Additionally, I am involved in Onward Ops, which helps service members transition to civilian life and aims to reduce veteran suicide rates while fostering community.
