About Me
My name is Vania Simon, LMHC-QS and I am a therapist practicing out of South Florida for over 16 years with a commitment to providing trauma informed care through individual, family, and group therapy. I have a passion for helping and empowering others in a journey of growth and self compassion. Most insurances are accepted. Vetted to work with the First Responder population, bringing trauma informed care to compassion fatigue support, parent support groups, outreach and prevention, certified and qualified supervision, EMDR and MBSR, continuing education and training for professionals.
Education & Experience
I hold a master degree from Nova Southeastern University Center for Psychological Studies and have extensive training in complex trauma, somatic and experiential interventions, psychodrama, group therapy, EMDR, compassion fatigue, mindfulness based stress reduction, critical incidents.
Professional & Volunteer Affiliations
I am the co-founder for Minding the Gap, a trauma-informed private group practice in South Florida. Board Member of Bleeding Blue, providing support and helping maintain a resource network of local clinicians that are culturally minded to work with the first responder community.
