About Me
Hi, I’m Vivien, a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW-C), board-approved social work supervisor, dedicated psychotherapist, and lifelong student of the human experience. I work with people who are ready to better understand themselves, work through challenges, and reconnect with meaning. Utilizing a grounded, intuitive, and evidence-based approach, I integrate EMDR, mindfulness, and somatic approaches in a therapy process that’s collaborative and client-centered. My therapeutic style fosters a supportive environment, empowering clients to explore solutions and celebrate their unique journeys to well-being. Overall, because my work is deeply shaped by my values: respect, transparency, and a belief that healing is always possible, I’m invested in each client’s journey to healing. Additionally, I’m distinguished member of the Substance Use Disorders (SUDs) & Interventions Fellowship (SUDIF) at the University of Maryland, Baltimore. With specialized expertise in substance use and a commitment to innovative approaches, I work with clients across the lifespan, including adults on the autism spectrum, as well as adults coping with mental health challenges such as depression, anxiety, mood/personality disorders, and grief.
