About Me
I provide trauma resolution & trauma resiliency care, as well as relationship therapy. This includes developmental and attachment trauma. I also specialize in the treatment of various mental health challenges and diagnoses. It is an honor to work with people as they move towards meaningful healing and change in their lives!
Education & Experience
My professional background includes clinical work in: inpatient and outpatient psychiatric settings (pediatric, adolescent, and adult), community mental health, hospice/bereavement; traumatic brain injury; and as a crisis interventionist. I served for over 12 years as staff therapist for a private psychiatric practice, prior to founding Hope's Lantern Counseling & Therapy Services. I have worked with many different clinical and therapeutic issues in the practice. I am trained in TBRI (Trust-Based Relational intervention); trained by Dr. Karyn Purvis and Dr. David Cross, and their TCU Child Development staff. I am an: EMDRIA Certified EMDR Therapist, EMDRIA Approved Consultant, Certified Imago Relationships Therapist, Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, Integrative Attachment Protocol for Children- Certified, Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) Practitioner, and a Certified IASIS Micro Current Neurofeedback Provider. Trained in ISP (Immediate Stabilization Procedure).

Professional Memberships include: EMDRIA, Scaling Up EMDR, Imago Relationships North America, Texas Counseling Association, International Critical Incident Stress Foundation, American Association of Christian Counselors, and the Association of Biblical Counselors; Co-Founder and Board Member of Valored Cohesion Solutions - a non-profit initiative to provide access to integrative mental resources services for first responders, military personnel, and veterans.
