About Me

Wenjin (Jean) Liu has rich experience in providing individual, couples and family therapy for clients from diverse cultural backgrounds. Jean is trained in a wide range of modalities including EMDR, Family and Couples Therapy, DBT and CBT. Jean uses a holistic, trauma-focused and culturally sensitive approach that aligns with each individual's values, needs, and pace.

Education & Experience

Jean holds a dual degree of Ed.M. and M.A. in Mental Health Counseling from Teachers College, Columbia University. Jean works with teenagers, adults, couples, and families from all walks of life. Jean is licensed in both New York and New Jersey. In addition to being a Bilingual Psychotherapist fluent in both English and Mandarin, she has held different roles, including Clinical Supervisor, Group Facilitator, Panel Leader for the 1st and 2nd China Psychology Forum, Research Assistant, Advocate, and Volunteer.
