About Me

I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in Alabama providing mental health therapy at Clarity Counseling. My work focuses on helping clients heal from mental health challenges through a compassionate and evidence-based approach. I am fully trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy through the EMDR Institute, founded by Dr. Francine Shapiro, the originator of EMDR. I also utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other integrative approaches to meet each client’s unique needs and goals. I strive to create a calm, authentic, and collaborative space where clients can process painful experiences and move toward lasting change.
