About Me
As a licensed clinical therapist, I work with clients ranging from young adults up to 65 years old. My therapeutic approach acknowledges the complexity of each individual's journey. Being an immigrant, I comprehend the intricate nature of self-identity, shaped by cultural, familial, and generational influences. My areas of specialization include trauma, addiction, OCD, ADHD, depression, and anxiety. I am committed to aiding my clients in their pursuit of personal growth and well-being. I find fulfillment in assisting adult clients eager to understand their life's narratives, behaviors, and recurring patterns. I believe in our innate ability to heal ourselves. Through a partnership in therapy, we can discover profound insights and foster personal development. My therapeutic demeanor is straightforward, yet empathetic and caring. I aim to provide a secure and unbiased environment for clients to commence their healing journey. Currently, I am advancing my expertise in EMDR & psychodynamic therapy, two modalities I find effective in helping clients move beyond their impasses. Alongside EMDR, I employ CBT, DBT, and mindfulness techniques in my practice, offering clients concrete methods to counteract negative thinking, enhance self-awareness, and establish adaptive coping mechanisms. I am passionate about supporting individuals dealing with substance abuse, eating disorders, mood disorders, OCD, trauma, and detrimental self-relationships. My dedication lies in guiding clients to discover their resilience and acquire the skills necessary for a rewarding and genuine life. Additionally, I am an avid animal enthusiast who enjoys volunteering at animal shelters, loves cooking, and I used to cherish urban living (recently moved to the suburbs!).
