Yu-Chieh Liu, Counseling Psychologist
About Me
I have always found deep meaning in helping others. I believe that every individual facing life’s challenges has the potential to heal and rediscover hope through professional support and compassionate companionship. It is my calling to walk alongside others as they regain balance and reconnect with the sunshine in their lives.
Education & Experience
I previously served as the Director and Counseling Psychologist at the Student Counseling Center of St. John’s University of Science and Technology in New Taipei City, where I worked closely with adolescents and university students. After retiring from the university in 2020, I founded Yongan Counseling Clinic in the community, where I continue to promote mental wellness and provide accessible psychological services to the public.
Professional & Volunteer Affiliations
In addition to clinical practice, I am actively involved in professional development and community support. I have long served as a director of the Taiwan Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Association, contributing to the advancement of EMDR therapy in Taiwan. My commitment lies in bridging professional knowledge with community needs, empowering individuals and strengthening the support network for mental health.
