About Me
Are you experiencing after-effects of traumatic events, navigating a transition, or wanting to live more authentically? My approach is to help you build upon your strengths, develop strategies to manage immediate challenges, and heal the root causes of struggles you are having. We may start with skills to calm your nervous system when you have anxiety or trauma symptoms, or with education to gain insight into your experiences. We may work on strengthening your relationships and support system. As we process underlying issues, my hope is that you start to experience a sense of greater agency, self-worth and authenticity. I specialize in trauma and anxiety treatment. Depending on the needs and goals of my clients, I use EMDR, parts work integrating Internal Family Systems and EMDR, Attachment Theory, ACT and CBT. I can be a primary therapist or do adjunctive EMDR sessions for those who already have a primary therapist. I'm now offering EMDR Intensives for a more flexible, efficient and accelerated therapy experience. To learn more, go to my website and click "Intensives," or reach out to schedule a consultation.
Education & Experience
I received basic training from the Parnell Institute in 2021. Since then, I have taken additional trainings in internal family systems (IFS), IFS-EMDR, and using EMDR to address chronic pain. I participate in ongoing monthly consultation with an EMDR consultant to continue to grow my knowledge base and skillset to best serve my clients.
