Using EMDR with complex trauma clients requires patience and advanced training. Jumping into Phases 3-7 without adequate preparation can lead to negative treatment outcomes. Resourcing is an essential investment in Phase 2: Preparation. Yet most consultees express feelings of inadequacy in applying EMDR Resource Development and Installation.
