This 2-hour live webinar provides an overview using an early trauma approach to EMDR based on the work of Sandra Paulsen and Katie O’Shea to address implicit trauma occurring before birth and during the early developmental attachment period. The trauma is usually stored as pre-verbal in the brain which makes this difficult to access for treatment with regular EMDR protocol. The focus is on foundational information about the protocol, differences with standard EMDR protocol, and how to apply the early trauma protocol with clients. A discussion on how to update the circuits and processing of time frames will occur. Finally, the presenters will provide a live demonstrations of both updating the circuits and processing the time  frames will be provided. Ample time for questions & discussion will end the program.
