This workshop is designed to equip clinicians with practical tools to enhance therapeutic progress with abuse survivors and clients with complex trauma. The course will focus on the development of emotional regulation skills and mindfulness practices that promote stability and resilience in clients facing emotional trauma. Participants will learn to identify affective intolerance and practice interventions to stabilize clients’ emotions, ultimately improving readiness for emotional processing. Emphasis will be placed on clinician-client attunement, enhancing affective tolerance, and fostering a safe therapeutic environment. Through lectures and hands-on exercises, this program provides a deep understanding of affect regulation and clinical preparedness for working with survivors and takes a look at therapeutic attunement. This event will be offered in person and also simultaneously live streamed.
