DeTUR is an Urge Reduction Protocol for addictions and dysfunctional behaviors and the underlying causing traumas, based on the Accelerated AIP EMDR model developed by A.J. Popky, Ph.D. Participants learn and practice DeTUR phases including client empowerment through resource accessing, installation of positive treatment goals, identification and desensitization of triggers, and techniques of relapse prevention.
