An intermediate-level course focused on skills in applying EMDR therapy with children. Language of the eight phases of EMDR therapy is modified to meet a child’s developmental needs. Participants learn to create a comprehensive treatment plan and create child-oriented methods for resourcing and stabilization skills along with Cognitive and Motor Interweaves. Complex cases and special topic areas are also discussed.
