Approved for 3 EMDRIA Credits
EMDR is a highly effective psychotherapy that targets traumatic explicit memories. However, preverbal trauma is stored as implicit memory without words or language. It is experienced as a felt sense in the body and in the sensory data of sight, sound, smell, and taste requiring a somatic focused EMDR approach, the Early Trauma protocol. This live webinar will address the role of attachment wounding in early trauma and review three interventions (Early Trauma Protocol, Ego State interventions and Imaginal Nurturing) to add in reprocessing preverbal trauma.
Presenter: Deb Del Vecchio-Scully, LPC
