This course will demonstrate how and why making clinically sound and developmentally appropriate modifications to the EMDR protocol will result in rapid and sustaining relief for children impacted by trauma. Offering EMDR to our youngest clients by making EMDR accessible and intentional.  This training will teach effective modifications to help, decreasing maladaptive behaviors, increase safety,  increasing self-awareness and regulation for healing for children affected by trauma. This training will include lecture, videos and practice exercises. Participants will see multiple uses of EMDR with children independently and within the parent/child dyad.
