*Approved for 6 EMDRIA Credits as a deviation from the EMDRIA Definition of EMDR

The Flash Technique, originally developed by Dr. Philip Manfield, as an EMDR-related intervention to better support clients in having a better experience with EMDR, allows clients to process trauma or help shift stuck information by shifting a tiny slice of the memory or issue at a time and maintain positive affect throughout the session. This workshop is designed to create an environment where clinicians can enhance their understanding of Flash-based memory reconsolidation research and evolved techniques (like Four Blinks) in assorted clinical contexts.

Presenters: Thomas Zimmerman, LPCC & Lisa Glendinning, CCC

*A program that deviates from the EMDRIA Definition of EMDR is considered an alternative procedure, protocol or explanation other than the standard EMDR protocol and shows promise in enhancing clinical skills and extending the application of EMDR-based theory/methodology.
