The G-TEP was developed to address the needs of group intervention for recent traumatic situations. It has been used with survivors of man-made and natural disasters, as well as with individuals coping with physical illnesses. It is very adaptable for virtual therapy providing contained, focused processing after developing three resources: a present safety orientation, recalling a time of past mastery and orienting toward the future. GREP was developed in response to the extreme unrest and refugee crisis. It focuses on developing and enhancing resources individuals need for self-care and caring for others. It has been used with therapists in the Ukraine helping them to develop and enhance access to their own resources.
