The Group Traumatic Episode Protocol training, developed by Elan Shapiro and Brurit Laub, is a group application of the Recent Traumatic Episode Protocol (R-TEP). This early EMDR intervention protocol can be used for small groups of adults, teens and children including those impacted by the same traumatic event, such as natural disasters or acts of violence. It can also be used for couples and families. The Trauma Episode conceptualization of the G-TEP addresses the fragmented multi target nature of non-consolidated (recent) trauma memories. The training will combine lecture with videos and practice.
