This workshop will teach both the theoretical background and a model of care for the integration of the attachment system and the AIP Model to treat clients with chronic health syndromes. Specific focus will be on the theory and neurobiology of the attachment system, advances in neuroscience as it relates to components of perception (exteroception, interoception and neuroception) and how the AIP Model and EMDR can be best used to treat clients with maladaptive attachment experiences that are directly related to their chronic health conditions.
