There are times that clients could better benefit from a longer EMDR session. There are several clinical considerations for more intensive EMDR therapy sessions such as clinical appropriateness, client fit, presenting symptoms, and treatment goals that must be taken into account. This course identifies the evidence based practices of intensive EMDR therapy treatment as well as outlines how to screen for appropriateness and structure intensive EMDR therapy sessions.
