Phase 8, Re-evaluation, is vital to our EMDR processing and planning. It is how we check our work, keep an eye on new areas that need our focus, and guides the next steps. It also can be a great way to guide clients into EMDR therapy instead of re-hashing their week or contributing to avoidance of the digging in. Key points of the re-evaluation phase will be reviewed and a handout will be provided to guide that process. We will also review the set-up for incomplete target memory and offer a handout for that too.
