Participants will be provided an outline of the impact of early neglect and trauma attachment style. We will also discuss the impact of disassociation on tolerance of affect states and its correlation to insure attachment style. Participants will then be introduced to Dr. Andrew M Leeds’ Positive Affect Tolerance and Integration Protocol and discuss its place within the EMDR Therapy phases of treatment. The presenter will provide a live demonstration of PAT and encourage participants to engage in practicum of PATIP protocols. We will also outline how to utilize PAT within an overall treatment plan with EMDR Therapy. This in-person workshop will be simultaneously live streamed.
