Approved for 6 EMDRIA Credits

This one-day workshop is open to but-not-limited-to any clinician who has received the Basic Training in EMDR through an EMDRIA-Approved course. This course will develop clinical competence in using EMDR through didactic presentation, demonstrations, and supervision practicum. The goal of this workshop is to help clinicians feel competent in using EMDR Phase 2 while implementing supportive Expressive art techniques. This training is focused primarily on School age applications; that being said, many of the hands-on projects can also be utilized for the older population. Participants will build confidence by reviewing the EMDRIA Definition and Phase 2 protocols. Attention will be given to adherence to the protocol, case conceptualization, stabilization, and resourcing. Participants will practice what is reviewed through guided practicum experiences to further foster proficiency and understanding. This workshop will allow you to practice EMDR utilizing Expressive Art techniques with Phase 2 with confidence.
