Therapists often have difficulty identifying themes and negative cognitions in children’s therapy, which can complicate the implementation of effective interventions and documentation of progress. This workshop will focus on how to use themes to help identify negative cognitions and therefore provide guidance in therapeutic interventions and responses. Using themes to address parent concerns, assist in documentation and promote the development of positive cognitions will be addressed.
