Consultation: Ten hours of consultation are required in order to complete the training. With this curriculum, there will be 5 two-hour consultation meetings February to May included with your registration.  These consultation meetings are spread out to aid in your application of EMDR in your practice.  Contact Alicia Avila directly for more information.

TRAINING OVERVIEW

This EMDR training is designed for licensed mental health practitioners who treat adults and children in a clinical setting. The training meets EMDRIA requirements and includes lectures, live demonstrations, videotaped demonstrations and supervised practice. Consultation hours are included in the registration fee. This training is specifically designed for a small cohort of clinicians from the San Diego and neighboring regions to foster a supportive collegial environment using the EMDR Institute training materials with the latest updates. Clinical worksheets will also be available in Spanish. Please read the participant agreement on the registration page for more information on this training.
