This online course focuses on strategies for slowing down the process of history taking and resourcing through increased focus on developing context and therapist validation of experience.  The course will provide tools for deepening the client’s understanding of their answer and their adaptations across continuums to stay safe, stay connected, or stay empowered in family of origin environments through the use of an attachment map and somatic awareness building.  Content has a focus on suicidality but can be applied a broader population of high-risk patients
