This online course is designed to help you assess factors impacting grievers and provide a basic understanding of modern grief theories and terminologies.  The presenter will review theoretical foundations and identify constructs for assessing grievers, while applying the 8-prong protocol to categories of dying, end of-life-decision-making, grief, loss and mourning, assessment and intervention, traumatic death and death education.  The course will teach EMDR therapists how to assess and intervene with these EMDR targets and memories, which supports foundational frameworks from the Association of Death Education and Counseling.
