In recent years, the trauma field has identified moral injury as another type of trauma that affects people in various occupations and situations. This online course will review the definition and types of moral injury. The presenter will discuss how many of the cases clinicians work with daily have underlying elements of moral injury as well, even for those traumatized as children, before the age of moral maturity.  The presenter will suggest strategies for targeting moral injuries and, when needed, blocking beliefs.
