Dr Paulsen guides the participant to a systematic approach to treating complex trauma cases integrating somatic, ego state and EMDR therapies and more. The work begins with a structured clinical interview that leads to case formulation and treatment planning. Those findings point to neuroaffective strategies that work directly on the brain, somatic therapy in the case of somatic dissociation, ego state therapy for structural dissociation and loyalty to the aggressor, early trauma EMDR for trauma and neglect in implicit memory in the first years of life, or standard EMDR for trauma held in explicit memory from later in life.  The online is suitable for those with and without EMDR, somatic and/or hypnosis training, as there is something for everyone in the workshop.
