In this online course you will learn how to integrate directive Play Therapy techniques and Bibliotherapy to help support all of the components in the Preparation Phase of EMDR.  You will be introduced to 14 books and paired directive Play Therapy activities to help children in the preparation phase become more engaged with the process, better able to stay in their window of tolerance when approaching trauma work, and increase comfort with the tools, techniques, and toys used in the later phases of EMDR. All of this will help you with developing a solid foundation for effective phases 3-8.
