Secure attachment can be fostered by experiencing and integrating the experience of CARE.  These experiences can be categorized into 5 primary areas, or “pillars of attachment”.  This online course will review these pillars of attachment and provide clinicians an understanding of how this knowledge can be integrated into the 8 phases of EMDR treatment, with a special focus on history taking, resourcing, and interweaves.  This course is appropriate for EMDR trained clinicians who already have a base understanding of attachment theory and are ready to learn and implement new or different attachment-based techniques for clients with some level of attachment wounding or dysfunction.
