Neurodiverse clients experience their world in ways that can be very unique to them and trauma work is no different. While EMDR was designed to be used by all types of clients, there are many concerns when applying the 8 phases of the approach that need to be adjusted to support neurodiversity. In this online course, participants will learn specific ways to support autistic and ADHD clients during processing including understanding underlying cultural trauma that comes from having a specific neurotype.
