Working with children and teens in a school setting provides unique challenges, particularly when it comes to the implementation of EMDR therapy.  Many clinicians struggle in EMDR Basic Training to find a way to utilize the strategies taught in basic training due to the limits and confines of the school-based counseling environment.  This online course addresses those concerns with some simple ways to prepare kids and teens for EMDR, educate the teachers and staff about EMDR therapy, and manage the reprocessing of targets in a way that helps the child to easily return to a state of regulation before re-entering the classroom.
