Online Course
The online course offers therapists a comprehensive understanding of integrating Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy with Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) techniques. The course consists of four modules that cover key aspects of the integration process. Module 1 focuses on parts mapping in Phase I, teaching participants techniques for identifying and understanding internal parts. Module 2 explores working with the protective system, providing strategies for engaging with protective parts that arise during EMDR sessions. In Module 3, participants learn about self-energy and resourcing, including accessing the Self’s resources and integrating EMDR’s protocols. Module 4 addresses working with protector fears and blocking beliefs, providing interventions to overcome obstacles in therapy. By the end of the course, participants will have gained practical skills in parts mapping, working with protectors, utilizing self-energy, and addressing protector fears and blocking beliefs. They will be equipped to provide more effective trauma treatment, enhancing their therapeutic practice, and improving client outcomes.
