Although clinicians are trained in EMDR Basic Training to use Cognitive Interweaves, confusion may still exist regarding the usage of Cognitive Interweaves with EMDR therapy. They may be inundated with comments and workshops that may, or may not, be giving accurate information. When working with complex populations, such as complex-PTSD, clinicians may become even more confused. This online course is designed to enable EMDR therapy clinicians to work effectively with clients when using cognitive interweaves to clear blocked processing and overcome blocking beliefs. The online course offers clarification of the proper usage of Cognitive Interweaves and encourages clinicians to correctly recall and properly apply Cognitive Interweaves to clients with Complex PTSD.
