For this December 2018 issue of Go With That Magazine, we interviewed Sonny Provetto, winner of the EMDRIA 2018 EMDR Advocacy Award. As an EMDR clinician and trauma consultant for police departments and emergency responders in northern Vermont, Sonny has had a multitude of experiences as a police officer and emergency mental health clinician. The most influential of these was at the Sept 11, 2001 New York City Trade Tower Attacks, which has since guided his clinical practice working with first responders for more than 17 years.
