About Me

My counseling style is built on trust, engagement and relationships. First, we’ll get to know each other and talk about what’s happening and what you’re hoping to change. From there, we’ll come up with a plan together to unlock what’s holding you back and how to move forward.

I use a mix of different tools and techniques to help, including mindfulness, rewriting your story, understanding and rewiring your nervous system, and pulling from your strengths and values. I also apply theories including EMDR, ACT, DBT, IFS, and MI to make sure what we’re doing feels impactful.

I am also a parent to two teenagers myself, have lived overseas with my family in Finland for several years, and have a big love of the outdoors, travel, live music, yoga, biking, and the arts. I believe in social justice and the power of a strong community to heal people’s minds and hearts.
