About Me

I am passionate about helping others reach their mental health and addiction goals, live a healthy lifestyle and thrive in their relationships. I believe therapy works best when it feels like a real conversation — one where you feel heard, respected, and gently challenged. My practice draws from evidence-based practices including cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness-based approaches, Erik Erickson’s Stages of Psychosocial Development, cultural competency, art therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, strengths-based interventions, Gottman, Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS) and EMDR.

My name is Gina Romblad. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) working in Gainesville, FL and am a qualified supervisor for Registered Clinical Social Work Interns. I became licensed in FL in 2018 after getting my MSW in 2014 at the University of Connecticut.

I specialize in work with adults and adolescents in the areas of trauma, anger management, addiction, communication skills, depression, anxiety, work with veterans and their families, LGBTQIA challenges/identity exploration, overcoming life challenges and fostering self-esteem.
